Hi, I am Mihika Prabhu, the co-founder and CEO of The STEMconnect.​STEM opportunities are everywhere—and so are eager learners and passionate STEM enthusiasts who want to teach, mentor, and share what they know. But too often, those connections never happen. I saw capable, curious students who didn’t know where to start, and motivated mentors who didn’t know how to reach them.

STEMconnect was created to bring those worlds together.​I founded STEMconnect to bridge that gap by making pathways clear, accessible, and fun for both learners and mentors. In just one year, that idea has grown into a registered nonprofit and a solid team of nearly 20 passionate members plus multiple volunteers that join us at events.

Together, we’ve hosted a STEAM Night with over 250 attendees and 18 interactive booths, led hands-on workshops for grades 1 through 6—where kids watched Coke explosions, coded, explored biology, learned math through games, and even built cars online. We have mentored over 80 students to participate in math, science, and robotics competitions.

What amazes me most is that something that started as a simple idea is now a growing community of students, mentors, schools, teachers, parents, and peers creating real impact—while having so much fun together along the way.
